On this call we will discuss your goals, needs, and see if we are a good fit for each other. If so, then we will come up with a personalized plan for you and schedule your assessment. 

Book your intro sessions:

We use scientific, data driven methods to give you a precise, personalized, and complete plan. You will receive a 90 minute full body assessment, personalized report of findings, and (2) 30 minute follow up sessions.

Many personal trainers use outdated methods that lead to recurring injuries, increased pain, and lack of overall progress. At Theorem Fitness & Jiu Jitsu Club, we are not offering your typical personal training. Our Certified Muscle System Specialist (CMSS ) is experienced in studying the body’s responses to physical stress as well as how the body adapts to physical activity over time. This allows us to approach every client’s situation with a science-based thought process. Our process will help you increase mobility, reduce pain, and improve performance over time. Even better, some of our clients make a full recovery from old injuries. We have helped hundreds of clients just like you get back to living their lives to the fullest again.

What Is A Certified Muscle System Specialist (CMSS)? 

A CMSS is an exercise professional who uses a unique thought process and science-based approached to address your issues with poor movement, muscle tightness, and muscle and joint pain.


During your intro session, your CMSS will complete the following objectives: 

Conduct a complete assessment of your muscular system.
Locate the areas of low-quality movement, muscle tightness, and joint discomfort.
Address and restore low-quality movements and positions with personalized exercises to allow for higher-quality muscle function.
Decrease sensations of discomfort in muscles and joints by improving muscle concentration and control.
Improving your strength & performance
Educate you on self-directed exercises and techniques for continued muscle maintenance and recovery.

BIOGRAPHY

Dominick studied Exercise Science with minors in Nutrition and Public Health from Southern Connecticut State University.

He holds the distinction of Muscle System Specialist, Resistance Training Specialist, ACE Orthopedic Exercise Specialist, as well as formally being one of only 14 Instructors of Muscle Activation Techniques worldwide and was one of only 85 Master Level Muscle Activation Techniques Specialists in the world.

In addition, he was the Director of The National Personal Training Institute in San Diego and Cleveland, Ohio where he trained trainers to be trainers. There, he taught all the essential knowledge that is required to be a top exercise professional, including physics, biomechanics, exercise mechanics, anatomy, physiology, neuroscience, exercise prescription, assessment, nutrition, and business development.

Dominick currently owns and has founded MotionMechanix, MMX Exercise Education Academy, Jiu Jitsu Intelligence, and now Theorem Fitness & Jiu Jitsu Club. He has been certified as a Personal Trainer for over 25 years, has been training and teaching Jiu Jitsu for over 23 years. He has curated specialized exercise instructional courses focused on strength and mobility for the worldwide website BJJ Fanatics and has taught his highly successful course, Decision Making 101 “From The Table To The Floor” to trainers from all over the world.

Dominick has completed well over 2000 hours of advanced coursework in Biomechanics, Exercise Mechanics, Neuroscience, Anatomy, Physiology, Decision Making, and Muscle Function. He has also appeared on ESPN radio, and several podcasts, as well as written several articles about exercise mechanics. Dominick is a 4th-degree Carlson Gracie Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Blackbelt under Professor Fabio Araujo. He is a 15x North American Grappling Association (NAGA) Champion, 2x A.G.C. Team Tournament Champion, and 2x Grapplers Quest Champion.
